INSTALLATION OF FIBER OPTIC
CABLE
Verizon recently
sent out flyers notifying Flint Hill residents that they are bringing Fiber
optic services (FiOS) to our community. A FHMTA resident has been in contact with
Verizon and if there is any additional information on the installation of this
network, we will pass it on to the residents.
A resident informed
the BOD that she heard that Metro was planning to discontinue the 2 W bus route
that runs along Flagpole lane. The BOD
president contacted Metro, which indicated they were not aware of any such
plan. However, Metro would inform
affected users by posting flyers, etc. on the affected bus routes. Thus, if residents who ride the 2W are
provided any information on changes to the bus route, please contact the BOD
with this information.

WEBSITES
Flint Hill Manor has
an official website:
http://www.flinthillmanor.org
The web site offers
a wide range of information for the homeowners including newsletters, ARC
guidelines, annual meeting minutes, and general information about the community.
TRASH COLLECTION REMINDER
It is the responsibility of each resident to see that the community is litter free. Please try to pick-up any litter you find in your yard and around the community. Please remember these guidelines about trash removal:
OTHER REMINDERS
Lighting –
Please remember to
leave your outside lights on during the night.
The additional lighting will discourage crime and make the community a
safer place.
Parking –
Each home in the
community is assigned two reserved parking spaces which are identified by the
lot number of the home. For the safety
of all residents, DO NOT double park behind parked cars. Even if you block your own cars, you pose a
serious safety hazard to residents driving through the community (especially at
night).
Driving in the
Community -
The speed limit
throughout the community is 7 MPH-please observe it. There are many children who live in our
community.
