Trash and Recycling

Be a Good Neighbor

Do not place trash or recycling at curbside earlier than 6pm the day before the scheduled pick-up and please removes containers promptly once emptied. This will help prevent debris from blowing around our neighborhood.

Some other helpful reminders:

  1. Scheduled trash collection days are Tuesdays and Fridays. Recycle collection is scheduled for Fridays.
  2. If you missed that day's trash pick-up, please place your trash in your backyard until the next trash pick-up period outlined above.
  3. Trash and recycle containers should not be stored in front of the premises. All containers should be either stored appropriately in the back yard or inside the house.
  4. American Disposal will not take empty paint cans, so please do not put them out. Bring them to the Fairfax Hazardous waste faculty on West Ox Road.
